Bryan Phillips

Bryan is from a small village in rural Southwest Ohio where there are more cattle than people. He escaped the clutches of small town living and exchanged it for a life in the city, where he pursued interests in neurobiology, developmental psychology, and marketing before settling on a degree focused on Business Administration and Management. Having developed a taste for things like calculators and expensive gel pens, he began his financial career in 2016 in banking where he managed large cashflow and was responsible for selling and maintaining general banking products. After leaving banking, Bryan found a career as a Senior Case Consultant at Columbus Life Insurance Company where he developed and encouraged relationships with agents, clients, and internal customers. He assisted with servicing and supporting policies and policyowners throughout the life of the policy from inception to claim. Bryan joined Stearns Financial in March 2022 as the organization’s Engagement Consultant, where he’ll utilize his previous experience to support Stearns Financial’s diverse clientele.

Bryan currently lives in Cincinnati with his husband, Tyler, and their dog Milo. He enjoys reading, spending money at Target, and ignoring Milo begging for treats.
